Description: Economic Opportunity Studies (E.O.S.) Inc., wwww.opportunitystudies.org, of Washington DC is a non-profit corporation, Margaret (Meg) Power, Ph.D., President and Executive Director. EOS performs analyses of a database of Department of Energy data on low-income residential energy consumers about the energy burdens of the poor, including the U.S. Dept. of Energy’s (DOE) Weatherization Assistance Program. EOS offers training in support of organizations and projects that provide low-income families and communities with resources they need to become more self-sufficient. To do these tasks well, EOS has also developed expertise in the management and information systems of the Community Action Agencies, CAP Agencies. EOS is a non-profit charitable corporation, incorporated in the District of Columbia. It was formerly the Economic Opportunity Research Institute, EORI.
